A pair of sea star earrings featuring a single Australian blue sapphire in the centre of each star. The blue sapphire was chosen as these earrings are inspired by the Blue Linckia Sea Star/Starfish. Found in tropical waters throughout the Great Barrier Reef, these sea stars are known for their vibrantly blue colour. While sea stars are relatively hardy creatures they are particularly vulnerable to global warming and the decline in healthy reef ecosystems. These earrings are a beautiful reminder of the importance of our reefs and the many species that rely on them. A perfect gift for any ocean lover!
