A pair of hammerhead shark earrings that captures the beauty and grace of this iconic shark species. Three of Australia’s four hammerhead species are considered critically endangered or vulnerable, with scalloped hammerheads estimated to have lost 80% of their original population in QLD waters. Under threat from fishing, finning, and shark culling, hammerhead sharks are particularly vulnerable to getting caught in nets because of the unique shape of their head. These earrings features the classic s-curve of a hammerhead shark swimming wild and free, exactly as it should be.
