World Treasure Designs, a small, independent Australian jewellery business, crafts unique designs using 100% locally sourced and sustainable materials. Each piece of jewellery is handcrafted in our Hervey Bay workshop, representing a commitment to quality, environmental responsibility, and cultural preservation.
Nick and Allison Thorp, owners of World Treasure Designs, continue the Thorp family tradition of jewellery craftsmanship that started in 1948, but with a refreshed focus on ethical practices and environmental preservation.

We source our materials responsibly, using 100% recycled silver, ethically-mined or recycled gold, Australian sapphires, and eco-friendly packaging. Our workshop runs on solar power, and we ensure that a portion of our sales goes towards environmental causes. We are also proud members of 1% For the Planet, donating 1% of our sales towards environmental causes.

Our services extend beyond crafting our unique collections to include repairs, remodeling, engraving, and creating bespoke designs.
