Nala is Hervey Bay's much loved icon whale, and when she was spotted with a beautiful baby girl calf in the winter of 2010, the community named the calf Mirrhi - an aboriginal name meaning 'little girl'. Humpback whales are incredible mothers, staying with and protecting their calves for a full year's migration. This necklace design represents that special bond between mother and child.
